International Bowl: Scrimmage Recap

U17 (’99-’00) Receiver Khalil Wilson (Toronto, ON) and U18 (’98) Receiver Gordon Lam (Kitchener, ON) came up big in Wednesday’s scrimmages. Both Scrimmages took place on Wednesday morning at AT&T Stadium; Home of the Dallas Cowboys.
 
In the U17 (’99-’00) match-up, Ontario was able to come out quick and physical running the ball into the red zone on its first drive leading to a Jonas Hatcher (Toronto, ON) to Khalil Wilson (Toronto, ON). Ontario used a 4-headed running attack with Jacob Savoni (Lasalle, ON), Keon Edwards (Toronto, ON), Tanner Nelmes (Guelph, ON), and Dylan Ferdinand (Kitchener, ON). Defensively Devon Thomson-Wood (Hamilton, ON) and Spencer Smyth (Dundas, ON) came up with big Interceptions.
 
As for the U18 (’98) matchup, Ontario moved the ball through the air with Quarterbacks Alex Douglas (Cambridge, ON) and Mason Brown (Stoney Creek, ON). Receiver Gordon Lam (Kitchener, ON) came up with a couple big catches including a long touchdown. Defensively, Chase Boycott (Windsor, ON) and Defensive End Cayne Lander (Sharon, ON) led the way along with a HUGE hit from Linebacker Nolan Wright (Ancaster, ON).
 
Both teams will meet again this Friday, 4pm Kickoff for the U18’s and a 7pm Kickoff for the U17’s. Tickets are still available! If you are unable to attend, a Live Stream will take place at www.InternationalBowl.com.
