Adam Grandy to join Team Ontario Canada Cup Staff

The Ontario Football Alliance is very pleased to announce that Adam Grandy will be joining the Team Ontario Canada Cup Coaching Staff as Special Teams Coordinator & Defensive Assistant.

Adam Grandy will join returning Coaches Glen Mills (Essex Ravens), Chris Bertoia (Waterloo Warriors), Rob Underhill (McMaster Marauders), Tom Flaxman (Western Mustangs), JP Asselin (Carleton Ravens), & Donnavan Carter (Windsor Lancers). 

Grandy has spent the last 4 years coaching with the University of Guelph Gryphons, winning a Yates Cup this past fall. Grandy has developed some of the Top Linebackers in the CIS, including Team Ontario Alumni John Rush (Winnipeg Blue Bombers) & Curtis Newton.

Adam is entering his 5th year with Gryphons as Linebacker Coach and Assistant Defensive Coordinator. A graduate of McMaster University, Adam was a Linebacker for the Marauders and a member of the 2003 Yates Cup Championship team. Adam has coached in Burlington for the last 10 years working with the Burlington Stampeders and the M.M. Robinson Rams High School team.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from McMaster University (2007) and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor (2011) where he was a Graduate Assistant/Linebacker Coach during the 2010 season.
